What a perfect way to celebrate Kaylee's birthday! 🎉 🥳 🎈

Annan wanted to make her day extra special, and Tyne Cot was so happy to be part of it. Neither of them had ever been on a sailboat before, and sailing had been on their bucket list, so we were honored to help check that one off!

They were such great sports as the wind picked up, and it turned into a fun, memorable evening on the water.

It was also a pretty special sail for us, as it ended up being a wonderful way to close out our summer sailing season with Lake Hefner's water levels continuing to drop so drastically.

Happy Birthday, Kaylee! We're so glad your first sail was aboard Tyne Cot. ⛵️ 🌅 🎂

One thing I’ve learned in life is that time with family is priceless. ❤️ As life gets busier and everyone follows their own path, finding time to stay connected and continue building those relationships becomes even more important. I loved spending the afternoon on Lake Hefner with my niece Kassidy, and her boyfriend Jarrod. There was no agenda—just sailing, talking, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company while taking in the memories and the beauty of lake hefner Sometimes the best memories aren’t the big events. They’re the simple moments spent together, feeling the wind in the sails, watching the water roll by, and being thankful for the people who share life’s journey with you. Family, sailing, and quality time together—those are the things that truly matter. ⛵❤️ So grateful for this day and the memories we made aboard

Richard Martinez —I honestly had the the time of my life enjoying the peaceful view on lake Hefner. Thank you so much, words can't express the experience I had, the only way is to go out there and do it. I want to give a big thank you to Leesa, Samantha, and a very big thank you to the Tyne Cot crew! You guys were great I enjoyed the time and experience sailing! I think everyone should reserve a time in there busy schedule to meet up with Tyne cot and enjoy the experience sailing on lake Hefner or on any lake for that matter.

Yesterday was one of those sails that reminds us exactly why we do this... perfect weather, calm waters, and even better company.

Two years ago, Tilda and James came out for their very first sail with us, and somewhere along the way they became so much more than guests - they became family. ❤️

This time they brought some of their nieces and nephews out for their very first sailing experience, and watching those kiddos go from nervous to relaxed and smiling was truly a blessing. Moments like that are what it's all about.

We are so thankful for Tilda and James and look forward to always having them be part of our sailing journey and Tyne Cot family.

Evan KI — We had an unforgettable time! Dustin and Crystal were incredible hosts, making our sailing adventure truly special and memorable. If you ever get the chance, don't miss the opportunity to let them show you just how fun sailing can be! We enjoyed sailing for a while, then dropped anchor right in the middle of the lake to watch a breathtaking sunset and indulge in a delicious dinner, grilled right there on the boat. Dustin and Crystal weren't just fantastic conversationalists; they made us feel like royalty throughout the trip. It was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary, and we're beyond grateful for this magical experience. A huge thank you for making our day so incredibly special!

Another great sunset cruise with this amazing couple! He had perfect timing because as the wonderful sunset was happening, there was an amazing giant orange full moon coming up at the same time as he proposed to her on the front of the boat! This wonderful couple also plan in the not too distant future to be living on a sailboat and island hopping as well!

We had the most romantic sunset dinner and cruise on Lake Hefner aboard the Tyne Cot sailboat! It was the perfect little day date getaway and a fun adventure!
